Final gas allocation criteria for 12th Plan projects-II: State sector, IPPs to garner major share

The Ministry of Power has delineated the following quotas applicable to gas allocation for 12th Plan projects. 

CPSUs, SPSUs, Case-II bidding projects, SEZs and the Delhi Mumbai Industrial Corridor Development Corporation (DMICDC) are to get 50% of the available domestic gas with the following sub-division:

 --42% for CPSUs, SPSUs and Case-II bidding projects.

 --4% for SEZs

 --4% for DMICDC

The other 50% of available domestic gas will be divied up in the following manner:

 --40% for IPPs

 --5% for peaking/CCHP stations

 --5% for CPPs.
