Petroleum ministry exercise on natural gas data (2010-11 up to 2029-30): GAIL expected to transport 564 MMSCMD of gas by 2030

GAIL’s is estimated to transport 125 MMSCMD of gas in 2010-11 through its various pipelines, both existing as well as upcoming networks. This is going to touch 148 MMSCMD next year when two more pipelines -- Chainsa-Jhajjar-Hissar and Dabhol-Bangalore -- are expected to come on stream. The gas major’s capacity to transport gas will continue to rise, as more and more pipelines become operational. Finally, it is estimated that the company will be in a position to transport 564 MMSCMD of gas by 2029-30.

   --DVPL (New)
   --Dadri-Bawana-Nangal P/L
   --Chainsa-Jhajjar-Hissar
   --Dabhol-Banglore
   --Jagdishpur-Haldia
   --Kochi-Kanjorkod
   --Mallavaram-Vijaipur-Bhilwara
   --Iran-India and TAPI Pipeline.
Over and above, transport projections are carried of GAIL's existing pipeline network.
