NTPC Ltd, Indira Gandhi Centre for Atomic Research (IGCAR) and BHEL have signed  a memorandum of understanding for indigenous development of next generation of  super-critical technology. The development of this technology is meant to  increase the power project's efficiency and reduce carbon emissions.
