- The Empowered Group of Ministers (EGoM) had stipulated that the verdict of the Court will be used to take a final call on the issue, asserting that even the allocation of gas would be made only as available, once the power plants are ready to commence generation.
- The MoP has, however, thrown its weight behind the power utility, asserting that the EGoM should implement, what it considers, the outcome of the transparent bidding process, without waiting for the court's nod.
